Our Staff
All staff at Young-Uns Preschool & Childcare Center have had a criminal background check, have taken courses in Infant, child and adult CPR, basic First Aid, universal precautions, and have earned a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education classes per year, and have satisfied the child abuse/mandatory reporting requirements. All staff are trained by the directors and placed on a 90 day probationary period to make sure all center policies and procedures are met. Staff meetings are held to update staff of any policy changes or to address any issue brought up by staff, parents or directors.
The employees at Young-Uns have a broad range of education and experience. All of the preschool teachers at Young-Uns have a Bachelor's degree. Several other teachers have either a four year teaching degree or a two year early childhood degree. Currently, some staff are working toward their bachelor’s degree.
