Food Program
Young-Uns’ serves lunch, morning and afternoon snacks Monday through Friday. The menu is on an eight week rotating basis and includes a variety of meats, pastas, vegetables, and fruits. All snacks and meals meet the required guidelines of the Department of Human Services.
Young-Uns is a peanut/tree nut free facility.
Meals are served family style. Children and staff sit at the table together. Food is put in appropriate size dishes so children are able to pass the food to each other in a relaxed environment.

Our cook completed the standards set forth by the ServSafe food protection Manager Certification Examination, which is accredited by the American National Standards institute (ANSI) - Conference for Food Protection ServSafe.
Young-Uns does not qualify for the subsidized food program at this time.
